About French Island
French Island is one of Victoria’s best-kept secrets — a 170 km² island in Western Port Bay with no mains electricity, no reticulated water, and a permanent population of just 100 people. It’s home to Australia’s largest koala colony and is almost entirely a national park.
With virtually no car traffic, the island is a cyclist’s paradise. Our e-bikes let you explore the entire island in a single day, gliding along unsealed roads through towering eucalyptus forests, past koala-filled trees, along mangrove-lined coasts, and through peaceful farmland.
The island is accessible by a short 15-minute ferry ride from Stony Point on the Mornington Peninsula. Our store is located right at the ferry terminal — pick up your e-bike within minutes of stepping off the ferry.

How to Get Here
Drive to Stony Point
Stony Point is located on the Mornington Peninsula, approximately 90 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Free parking available at the pier.
Catch the Ferry
Western Port Ferries operates daily services from Stony Point to French Island. The crossing takes approximately 15 minutes. Check the ferry timetable before booking.
Pick Up Your E-Bike
Our store is right at the Tankerton ferry terminal. Walk off the ferry and your e-bike will be ready. We’ll give you a quick safety briefing and trail map, and you’re off!
